Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Community Manager to join our team and lead the project management and promotion efforts for our innovative software platform, EAB Connect. EAB Connect is a platform that helps emerging entrepreneurs in developing nations to self assess, get access to training, and prepare them to be connected to seasoned entrepreneurs from North America. As a Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting EAB Connect, connecting entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and networks they need to succeed in their entrepreneurial journey, and helping to create traction for this exciting new tool.


  • Project manage the engagement of our software platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse user base and track engagement of users.
  • Engage and grow our community of entrepreneurs by fostering meaningful interactions, discussions, and collaborations both online and offline.
  • Promotes and facilitates the spread of EAB Connect through mechanisms like cohort training and meetings.
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase platform visibility and attract new users.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to users, addressing inquiries, feedback, and technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assists in collecting and maintaining consistent user analytics by tracking activities and communicating to stakeholders.
  • Analyze user data and feedback to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, informing future platform enhancements and updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to align efforts and maximize impact.


Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ Years of proven experience in project management, community building, or related roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • The ability to focus marketing efforts on both micro entrepreneurs and scalable entrepreneurs.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms, online communities, and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and making a positive impact in the world.
  • The ability to travel occasionally in Jamaica to engage various entrepreneurial groups.



  • This is a contract position.
  • Project timeline: 18+ months
  • Community Manager will be required some travel around Jamaica - Milage reimbursed.
